Emerging Pipeline

  • HemoCleanseTM-DT (DeToxifier) is a sophisticated, sorbent-based, centrifuge-like device for use in applications that include liver dialysis and drug overdose detoxification. This is a second-generation device that will replace the FDA Market--Cleared Biologic-DT (formerly marketed by HemoCleanse) and the Liver Dialysis Unit (formerly marketed by HemoTherapies, Inc.) The HemoCleanse-DT in it's new streamlined form will be in a more compact size, designed as an add-on system capable of converting traditional kidney dialysis machines, into liver dialysis systems.

  • HemoCleanseTM-PF (Plasma Filtration) is also a sorbent-based centrifuge-like device capable of removing protein-bound toxins from plasma, in applications that include the treatment of sepsis and autoimmuned diseases. The HemoCleanse-PF is also an add-on system capable of converting any kidney dialysis machine into a plasmapheresis dialysis system.

  • AmSorb Ammonium sorbent for use in the HemoCleanse and for use as an oral sorbent for urea control in the treatment of patients with renal insufficiency or end stage renal disease and for ammonium removal in treatment of patients with chronic liver disease.

  • For liver dialysis and emerging detoxification applications across a broad spectrum of diseases, see HemoCleanse Technologies, LLC, a subsidiary of HemoCleanse, Inc, formed in 2002.

    Spin-Offs and Licenses

Several products, and product families have migrated from the HemoCleanse labs into their own entities, during the 2000-2003 timeframe. This facilitates next generation development and opportunity leverage, by concentrating related technologies in the appropriate niche companies.

We are proud of these "graduates" and are excited about the impact they will have in the medical community and patient populations!

We have also licensed major product developments to other companies.
